Step Up / Speak Out LeFlore County - Spring 2015This event is designed to bring awareness to the issue of Child Abuse in our area. It provides a fun environment where kids can learn how to talk to teachers, pastors or law enforcement if they are victims of abuse. It also promotes awareness of the issue to school and community leaders concerning what they can do to help detect and prevent child abuse in our own communities. Our unit will be staffing a First Aid Station, a Preparedness Info Booth and a Children's Activity booth. |
