Dees Memorial Run

2^nd Annual Trooper Nicholas “Nickeldoo” Dees Memorial Run, January 28, 2017 at 9:00am in Durant.  The Trooper Nicholas Dees Memorial Run is to bring awareness to the dangers of texting and driving.   OHP Trooper Dees was killed on January 31, 2015 while working an accident on I-40 by a man who was texting and driving.  After Trooper Dees death the State of Oklahoma now has a “Don’t Text and Drive Law”.  All proceeds raised will go towards the Trooper Nicholas Dees Scholarship Fund administered by the Chahta Foundation of the Choctaw Nation.
