Jenks CERT Basic TrainingOKMRC volunteers may register for trainings offered by the Oklahoma Homeland Security. The Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills. Using CERT training individuals can, increase their level of personal disaster preparedness, assist others in their neighborhood, workplace,church or school following an event until professional responders arrive on scene. This course will be held on 3 consecutive Saturdays: Feb. 20, 27, and March 5th from 8 am - 5 pm. Students must attend all 3 sessions to complete the course.
