Description:
National Weather Service (NWS) will be conducting a storm spotter training session. This training is geared toward new and veteran storm spotters, as well as the general public and anyone interested in severe storms in or adjacent to the NWS warning area. The training will cover the basics and will also be a good refresher for those who have attended training before.

Additional Information:

This storm spotter training session is targeted to spotters in eastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas. It is free, and anyone is welcome to attend. The training will be conducted by meteorologists from National Weather Service (NWS) Tulsa. It will cover the basics of severe thunderstorm observation, storm spotter safety, and severe weather reporting, and will last less than two and a half hours. You will receive a certificate for completing the training.
