Description:
Topics of this intensive two-day training include: -Role and responsibilities in animal rescue -Activating a disaster response team -Safety factors and concerns in the field and shelter -Incident command system in animal operations -Small & Large animal behavior and handling

Additional Information:

Payne County Animal Response Team received a grant from the Kirkpatrick Foundation to pair with American Humane Rescue for a training on February 17-18 in Stillwater at the OSU vet school.  OKMRC Statewide Animal Response Volunteers are all invited to participate! Registration is free and includes breakfast and lunch both days.  Course design includes lecture and actual animal handling (large and small).

 

We plan to submit the course agenda to the State Licensing Board for CE credit.
