Tulsa Home & Garden ShowMar 08 2018The Humane Emergency Animal Response Team (HEART) will have a Disaster/Emergency Preparedness booth at the Home & Garden Show on March 8-11. We will be partnering with The Humane Society of Tulsa (HST). Volunteers will be passing out information about Pet Disaster Planning, OKMRC recruitment information, and HEART training fliers for the training on March 27th in Tulsa. Several shifts will be available: Thursday, March 8th 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Friday, March 9th, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Saturday, March 10th, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Sunday, March 11th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Location: River Spirit Expo Address: 4145 E. 21st Street, Tulsa We will be partnering with and assisting The Humane Society of Tulsa booth. It is located on the East End, Lower Level. Volunteers should park on the East End and look for the HST Rigs. There will be a labeled door on the East End near the HST Rig exclusively for volunteers use so you do not have to buy a show ticket. Please wear you OKMRC t-shirt and badge. Sign-in sheets will be on-site with the Staging Liaison on site. There will also be pets available for adoption in the booth and volunteers are also welcome to participate with that as well if they like. |
