We have been requested to assist the Tulsa Health Department (THD) in their Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response (CASPER). THD is conducting a community assessment of 210 households in Tulsa County (CASPER) on October 9 - 10 and needs at volunteers. We will break up into teams and each team will conduct 14 household interviews. Training will be provided before interviews begin. This assessment will be used to identify preparedness needs in Tulsa County and direct future Emergency Preparedness and Response Program efforts. Training will take place at the Tulsa Health Department, 5051 S. 129th East Ave., in Tulsa. You must be available for the entire shift on BOTH days to sign up for this event. Requirements: • Time commitment: You must be available for the entire 2 day shift o 10/9: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, 1 hour break for lunch (includes training on how to conduct the CASPER in the field) o 10/10: 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm • Ability to drive own car ~30 miles per day • Ability to walk long distances in varying environmental conditions • Working cell phone • Comfortable speaking face-to-face with others • Conscious of safety considerations Event: Tulsa Health Department CASPER Dates: October 9 (10:00 am - 7:00 pm) October 10 (2:00 pm - 7:00 pm) Training Location: Tulsa Health Department, James O.
