EMERGENCY: State Animal Response Team- Sapulpa Emergency Shelter

The State Animal Response Team (SART) MRC has been requested by the Dept. of Ag to assist the Tulsa County Humane Emergency Animal Response Team (HEART) with animals rescued from a hoarding situation in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. The SART MRC assistance is needed to remove, house and care for 50 dogs and a cat as they prepare for transportation and adoption. Beginning Tuesday 12/11, we will be working 8 AM to 6 PM. Volunteers are needed, even if they can only work for part of a shift.(Let us know when you will be there in the notes when you sign up) The animals are being cared for at the HEART Pet Transport Hub at 11908 S. 33rd West Ave., Sapulpa. Dates: December 12 - 23 Times: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Location: HEART Pet Transport Hub Address: 11908 S. 33rd West Ave., Sapulpa, OK Directions: The HEART Pet Transport Hub is 1.5 miles West of Highway 75 on 121st St. Turn North on 33rd West Ave. The property is on the West side of 33rd.

Please wear you OKMRC shirt, closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing. In addition, please dress for the weather as we may be outside for extended periods of time.
