OK Mission of Mercy in OKC *STATEWIDE*

Feb 01 2019

The OKMRC has been requested to assist with the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OkMOM). OkMOM is a free, two-day dental clinic open to people of all ages and backgrounds. It is specifically designed for people that are uninsured, underinsured, or would otherwise not be able to seek dental care. We are needing volunteers for all areas: Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Medical and Non-Medical Personnel. Since 2010, OkMOM has treated 14,454 patients. If you do not have a medical background, there is still a huge need for volunteers to help with registration, serving food, running paperwork and supplies, etc. Location: Oklahoma Expo Hall at the State Fair Park. Dates: February 2 & 3 (Set-Up Jan 31) Shifts: 4:30 am - 12 pm and 11:00 am - 6:30 pm. Clinic doors will open to patients each day at 5 a.m. and close when they reach capacity, estimated at 1,000 patients per day.To sign up and select your schedule, you MUST register through the OkMOM website FIRST and then sign up on OKMRC website with your chosen shift: http://www.rsvpbook.com/event.php?540474.(You may need to copy and paste the URL in your browser.)
