OU Kickoff on the Corner

Hello MRC!! Well it is that time of year again to cheer on your favorite college team. We have been asked to support the Norman Campus Corner Merchants Association "KICKOFF ON THE CORNER", opening weekend for college football!! If you participated a couple of years ago at the Campus Corner First Aid Station, we will doing the same service at a different location. This event will consist of a Pep Rally and a Concert. Our location will be just west of the concert stage and we will be in a great position to take in all the festivities while supporting the event. The support plan starts at 4:00 am Saturday morning, one more time in case you thought you read it wrong 4:00 am Saturday Morning and going until the wee hours of Sunday morning, depending on the coolness of Saturday evening and the volume of the crowd. Basic First Aid skills and higher are requested. Do not let that stop you. There will be plenty to do. In the past, we have treated numerous blisters, scraps and falls and provided gallons of suntan lotion. I expect it will be the same this event. Contact me if you have any questions. Parking is being coordinated, be prepared to walk up to 1 mile. We may have golf carts to shuttle.
