URGENT need for Shelter Staff at Emergency Youth Shelter in Ada

Apr 09 2020

The Unity Point Emergency Youth Shelter in Ada is in urgent need of volunteers to help augment staffing for the next 4 weeks. The staffing at Unity Point has been severely compromised by this pandemic and there is not a way to safely relocate the children based on their potential exposure. Applicants must be at 21 years old and enjoy working with children and adolescents. About 2-4 volunteers are needed every day to assist in staffing 3 (12a-8a, 8a-4p, 4p-12a) shifts per day. Shelter staff will be there to train and work beside the volunteers initially. The number of volunteers depends on the number of hours each volunteer is prepared to work.
