CANCELLED: COVID-19: Bartlesville Nursing Home Needs Non-medical Volunteers

Apr 21 2020

CANCELLED: As of April 20, non-medical volunteers are no longer requested to assist, due to increased spread in the facility. The Bartlesville Health and Rehabilitation Community nursing home is in need of non-medical community volunteers to assist in daily operations. A number of their residents and staff have tested positive for COVID-19, which has left them in need of additional staffing. Non-medical volunteers are needed to work as a cook's aide and help with meal delivery. They will work in 8 hour shifts to assist dietary staff from 0500-1300 and 1100-1900. Volunteers are asked to wear scrubs, if available, and OKMRC t-shirt uniform. The facility will provide PPE. Please sign up for a shift below if you are able to help. If working in the COVID-19 positive wing, a shower with soap, shampoo and towels is available for use to change before leaving the facility. Questions? Contact Lezlie Carter at LezlieC@health.ok.gov
