COVID-19: Texas County Hospital- MDs, DOs, NP, APRNs, & PAs

The Memorial Hospital of Texas County is in desperate need of dependable volunteers to work in the COVID unit of the hospital in response to a COVID-19 outbreak affecting many members of the community as well as hospital staff. There is a current request for doctors, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants , who are provided space to sleep, shower, relax, etc at the hospital typically for week or longer shifts. However, the hospital is currently in need of any time that can be provided by extra staff. A hotel is also an available option. (RNs and RTs please see other event to sign up) Full PPE will be provided by the hospital. Leave your size/ model of N95 mask in the comments when you sign up. Volunteers can be fit tested for N95 masks at the hospital, if needed. Memorial Hospital of Texas County Who: MDs, DOs, NPs, APRNs and PAs When: Tuesday, May 26- Sunday, June 7 (More dates may be added) Shifts: Doctors there often work one week, but they need you for as few or many days as you are willing to work. Shift rotation usually at 2 PM. Accommodations: The hospital has a space designated for doctors to sleep, shower, relax, etc. The hospital will also reimburse for mileage. All meals will be provided.
