The Tulsa Health Department has requested OKMRC volunteers to assist in the COVID-19 Phone Bank.

Location: Tulsa Health Department, James O. Goodwin Health Center

Address: 5051 S. 129th East Ave., Tulsa

Dates: Monday - Friday

Times: 7:40 am - 5:00 pm

Tasks: Receive complex phone calls from sometimes very difficult callers and direct them to proper resources

Skillset
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to talk to the public without political bias or emotional investment
• Ability to take direction and follow script/guidance
• Ability to handle sometimes very stressful, fast-paced environment on a regular basis and maintain a positive attitude and representation of the Tulsa Health Department
• No medical credential needed

Do NOT self-deploy. You will be emailed a confirmation email once your shift has been approved. Due to the close quarters environment of the phone bank we must limit employees and volunteers that spend time in high risk settings such as hospitals, doctor's offices, long-term care facilities, grocery stores, etc. If you work or volunteer at one of these type facilities please do NOT sign up to work in the phone bank. In addition, if you are experiencing any COVID-19 like symptoms you will not be able to volunteer for your shift.
