Urgent: Nursing Volunteers needed in Tulsa Co., Franciscan Villa Senior Living

Nurses Needed in Tulsa County for COVID-19 Response Franciscan Villa Senior Living in Tulsa County is in need of dependable volunteers to work in their COVID-19 Unit. COVID-19 has already affected many members of the community. The hospital is working to hire additional staff, but volunteers are needed NOW to help during this critical time.

There is an urgent request for Registered Nurses and LPNs who will work in 12 hour shifts from 7 AM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 7 AM. Volunteers must work the full shift.

Volunteers should wear scrubs. Full PPE will be provided by the hospital, as well as fit testing.

This deployment requires a volunteer that can handle wearing FULL PPE (gown, gloves, mask, respirator, etc) for a 12 hour shift. The facility does have a separate area divided off for a breakroom for staff and volunteers. Lunch will be provided by facility kitchen. This unit also has a negative pressure system, which filters the air continuously. The nurses need to be able to handle IV's, peg tubes, minor wounds, blood sugars, medications and complete electronic documentation. The facility uses Point Clickcare for their electronic health records.
