Tulsa County Community Vaccination Center (CVC)

Apr 27 2021

Tulsa is excited to be 1 of only 5 sites nationwide to partner with our federal colleagues to host a Community Vaccination Center (CVC)! While our federal partners will be filling most roles at the CVC, OKMRC volunteers have been requested to fill a few non-medical roles and to fill a limited number of medical roles. The medical roles will be drawing up vaccine and must be an seasoned OKMRC volunteer that has previously worked a THD POD as a COVID-19 Vaccinator. The non-medical roles will be greeter/mobility assistant type positions. The CVC will operate 6 days a week, Tuesday - Sunday from 9:30 am - 7:00 pm for the next 8 weeks. There will be 2 shifts per day, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm and 2:30 pm - 7:00 pm. You may sign up for just one shift or feel free to sign up for both if you would like to work the entire day. You must be able to work the entire shift as partial shifts are not available at the CVC. All positions do require volunteers to be standing on their feet for the entire shift. This is our chance to show the nation how AMAZING the OKMRC is and showcase our resilient Oklahoma spirit! Once again, we're making history!
