Comanche Drive through Vaccine POD & Comanche CHD SupportSep 28 2021Hello MRC Volunteers! There are two different events occurring this week in District 5, southwest Oklahoma, where we would welcome your assistance! The first is the need for volunteers to assist with testing or vaccine support. You will be working at the Comanche County Health Department and we have openings for Monday 9-27-21 and Tuesday 9-28-21. There are two shifts from which to choose, 8 am to 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm to 5 pm. The work is inside the CHD in a climate-controlled environment. The second opportunity to serve would be at the COVID vaccine drive-through clinic at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton on Wednesday 9-29-21, Thursday 9-30-21 and Friday 10-1-21. This would be mostly inside the huge drive-through barn and you will be protected from the elements unless you are helping with distributing forms. We need MEDICAL for administering vaccine and NON-MEDICAL volunteers for helping with forms, traffic control, and monitoring. We are planning two shifts from 8:30 am to 12 noon and/or 12 noon to 3 pm. The weather should be cool, and we would love to see you!
