OK County: Summer Hygiene Drive

Jul 08 2022

The OK County Medical Reserve Corps will hold a Summer Hygiene Drive to support people experiencing homelessness in OKC. Some of the biggest essential needs are insect repellant, rain ponchos, deodorant, foot powder, shampoo and conditioner (for a range of hair types), and body soap. Both full and travel-sized products are appreciated, and items must be new. Your donations will be used to help individuals who are visiting the Day Shelter. Please consider donating to help the Homeless Alliance with their mission to end homelessness in OKC. Large donation boxes will be set up at the following Oklahoma City-County Health Department locations: North campus, Oakridge, Southern Oaks, West clinic, Sequoyah, and WIC Shepherd Center. You can drop off your donations as soon as Monday, June 27th. Donations will be picked up Monday, July 11th. Donations can be dropped off between 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Please let me know if you plan on dropping off at the NE location, I would love to say hi! Please contact julia_reynolds@occhd.org for additional information.
