OK County: LIBERTYFEST PARADE

Jul 04 2025

The LibertyFest Parade is one of the largest and most celebrated Fourth of July parades in Oklahoma, drawing thousands of spectators to downtown Edmond. Featuring marching bands, floats, community groups, and patriotic displays, it serves as a signature highlight of the festival. Parade volunteers are essential to the event's success and support a range of activities including float staging and lineup, check-in and information booth assistance, and traffic control at roadblocks. Other roles may include setup, tear down, and general event support. All positions are essential to keeping the parade running smoothly and safely. Water and sports drinks will be provided by safety officers and coordinators throughout the event. Donuts are usually available at the briefing (first come first serve), but volunteers are encouraged to bring sufficient snacks. Most, if not all, volunteers can expect to be on their feet for the vast majority of their shift.
