OK County: Sound the Alarm - Smoke Alarm Installation Event

The Red Cross has requested OKMRC volunteers to help them install free smoke alarms in Oklahoma City! According to the Red Cross website, "Home fires claim seven lives every day, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. That’s why the American Red Cross rallies volunteers to install free smoke alarms nationwide as part of our Sound the Alarm events. We’ll install free smoke alarms, create escape plans and share fire safety information for residents of Oklahoma City’s Culbertson East Highland and John F Kennedy neighborhoods." They have requested our help for Saturday, October 4th, 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
