OKMRC Leadership :  Practical Skills  - Training participants will be taught practical strike team/task force leadership skills using  a multi-scenario, role-play format.  Although this seminar is designed for OKMRC Stress Response Team Leaders, any OKMRC volunteer who expects to be placed in a strike team/task force leadership role would benefit from attending.

  • Determining resource needs.
  • Confirming dispatch and estimated time of arrival of staff and supplies.
  • Assigning specific duties to staff; supervising staff while on deployment.
  • Implementing accountability, safety and security measures for personnel and resources while deployed.
  • Supervising demobilization of unit, including storage of supplies.
  • Developing and forwarding records of activities while deployed.
