This event will create an opportunity to bring the Sapulpa Community together to promote health awareness through education and activity/exercise. It will provide resources and support to encourage increased physical activity and exercise, community involvement and awareness, and better eating habits in order to help develop healthier lifestyle choices. Besides the race/walk, the event will feature participation by various health related vendors, healthy eateries, live music presented by local Sapulpa talent, local business support, and area colleges and universities promoting health and wellness through education. Proceeds will benefit Sapulpa Public Schools.
Volunteers are needed to staff the MRC First-aid tent for the event participants and spectators. The hours of operation of the tent will be 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Location: In front of the Creek County Courthouse, 222 East Dewey, Sapulpa. The race registration, race starting point, and the event stage will also be located in this area.
