Fad Diets

This is the time of the year many people try to lose weight. Many fad diets promise quick and easy weight loss solutions but do not measure up when it comes to maintaining weight loss. Some fad diets can lead to health complications especially for those with health conditions. Some fad diets will make scientific claims that sound like they make sense but they can leave out important information.

Join Sloan Taylor, RD, LD with Saint Francis Health System as she discusses the truth about fad diets. Sloan Taylor is an inpatient dietitian with the neurology and cardiology department at Saint Francis. In addition, she teaches nutrition at the University of Tulsa. She was the first registered dietitian in Tulsa to be certified in sports nutrition and has served as sports dietitian for competitive college sports teams.

There is a shortage of registered dietitians in Tulsa. It is a great privilege to have Sloan speak to our employees so you don’t want to miss this opportunity to listen and ask questions.
