The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) provides emergency response trainings to people across the country.

Additional Information:

The Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps (OKMRC) is excited to host a new training opportunity for OKMRC volunteers.  The two-day TEEX MGT 319 – Medical Countermeasures Point of Dispensing (POD), Planning and Response training course is on September 29 &30, 2022 at Oklahoma City-County Health Department NE Wellness Center auditorium (2700 NE 63rd, OKC).  Deadline to register is September 7, 2022.

•Category A, B, C Agents, natural hazards, man-made, or terrorism events.
•Point of Dispensing Command Structure for planning, execution, and demobilization of a jurisdictional response
•Emergency Use Authorizations (EUA)
•Discussions as it applies to local Emergency Support Function (ESF-8 and ESF-6)
•Public Health Preparedness Capabilities

CE Credits:
This course is approved and accredited for continuing education hours from:
ENA- Emergency Nurses Association
AAFP - American Academy of Family Physicians
Texas Department of State Health
Services – EMS
*This continuing education activity was approved by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
