Date/Time: Hours Credit: Description: Additional Information: We are excited to share a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) series from the Tulsa Health Department (THD). This series is taught by Dr. Jabraan Pasha. Dr. Pasha serves as CEO of Lean In, LLC, a Tulsa-based organization that offers customized workshops that focus on DE&I efforts. THD has partnered with Dr. Pasha to offer a four-part series during 2023; series topics include: Health Equity Matters, Unlocking Implicit Bias, Social Determinants of Health, and Cultural Humility. Dr. Pasha is a native of Tulsa, earning his medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine and completing his Internal Medicine Residency Training at the Mayo Clinic Arizona. Dr. Pasha also serves as a Hospitalist for St. John Tulsa. Dr. Pasha recognized a need in the community to bridge the Health Equity Training gap in Green Country. This training will be the second in the series, Unlocking Implicit Bias. If you couldn’t attend the first one or don’t know that you can attend all four, don’t worry, this is also a stand-alone training, feel free to join us. It’ll be GREAT information.
