Description:
Participants will gain improved insights into the needs, expectations, etiquette, and culture of people with disabilities through open and honest dialogue, facilitating better understanding and empathy towards those with disabilities.

Additional Information:

Join us for an enlightening training session presented by the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitative Services. Volunteers will explore the myriad of possibilities in mobility and assistance for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Participants will also gain insight into blind courtesy and learn how to guide individuals at Points of Dispensing (PODs).
