It identifies symptoms of major mental illnesses and addresses the issue of suicide including suicide trends, warning signs, and appropriate support actions and resources. This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved for 1.5 nursing contact hours by the Georgia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
