Description:
Workplace violence is on everyone's mind today, and rightfully so. This course is not just about workplace violence, but violence that may occur at anytime in our daily lives. Recent history has shown us violent attacks can also happen at our churches, our schools, the grocery store, the mall, and our homes. This course is designed to spur attendees into thinking about their response during such incidents, and encourage them to plan and prepare in advance of anything actually happening. Yes, you can Run, you can Hide, and you can Fight, but there is much more you can do to increase your chance of surviving a violent attack. Life-threatening emergencies can happen fast. Emergency responders aren't always nearby. You may be able to save a life by taking simple actions immediately. You Are the Help Until Help Arrives.
