The "Bloodborne Pathogens Safety and Prevention" course provides essential knowledge for individuals who may be at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials in their work or volunteer activities. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of bloodborne pathogens, including their definitions and the diseases they cause, with a focus on Hepatitis B, HIV, and Hepatitis C. The course covers symptoms, prevention strategies, and treatment options for these diseases, as well as practical methods to reduce the risk of exposure. Additionally, attendees will learn the crucial steps to take in case of potential exposure, ensuring they are well-prepared to protect themselves and others in various settings.
