Military emergency medicine has made significant changes in the manner they deliver care, and it has resulted in a considerable decrease of those who die from injuries that are considered to be preventable causes of death. Civilian emergency medicine has begun to transition the military lessons learned and include advances in the way medical interventions are performed in a high-risk environments (i.e. natural disasters, active threat situations, man-made events). This is an extremely fun, interactive course that is guaranteed to share the primary intervention skills for the most common causes of preventable death injuries.
