Personal Safety and how to be observant to the things around you. Staying safe during everyday activities and especially during Volunteer activations.

In trainings like CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed, we often hear the term "scene safety." What does it actually mean for a scene to be safe?

Sharon Sanderson, an RN and paramedic, will lead us in a fascinating training about Scene Safety. In this course, participants will learn how to identify hazards, how disasters change the hazard profile, and how to respond to these changes. By the end of this training, participants will learn scene safety principles so they can be more aware during emergency situations.
