Date/Time: Additional Information: ICS in Public Health Response Training This course introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) as it pertains to public health and provides the foundation for higher level ICS training for public health volunteers & staff. This course describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of the Incident Command System utilizing a public health approach. This course is highly encouraged for all OKMRC volunteers who plan to work at Tulsa Health Department (THD) activations and responses.
Objectives: -Enhance OKMRC and Tulsa Health Department (THD) emergency response staffing practices to support and advance an agencywide culture of preparedness. -Become familiarized with the Incident Command System (ICS) structure when applied to public health scenarios -Gain a better understanding of principles used to manage incidents/emergencies OKMRC could potentially respond to ICS in Public Health Response Training |
