Tulsa Co. Severe Winter Weather Emergency Shelter - Rose Bowl

The Center for Housing Solutions, Inc. have requested our assistance for volunteers as the Tulsa community has activated two pop-up emergency shelters for individuals (and their animals) that are experiencing unsheltered homelessness during this severe winter storm weather.  Each shelter expects around 350 individuals.

Please consider your personal safety before signing up to assist.  Roads may be very slick. 

Volunteers will assist in setting up and maintaining the overflow shelter, which may include setting up beds, distributing meals, caring for pets, and providing on-site support.

The activities may involve tasks that could be hazardous. It is important to follow all safety guidelines provided on-site.  Please note the requestor is not providing insurance or lodging for volunteers.  Meals and snacks will be provided by Iron Gate.
