Tulsa County HEART Free Drive-Thru Pet Supply Event - COVID 19

The Humane Society of Tulsa (HST) has requested OKMRC Humane Emergency Animal Response Team (HEART) assistance with a free drive-thru pet supply event in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

Volunteer activities will primarily be focused on distributing dog food, cat food, and pet beds into citizen's cars, trunks, hatches etc. PPE will be provided including gowns, masks and gloves. Volunteers are also needed to help prep supplies for distribution throughout the day as well as track amounts distributed.

NOTE: ****PPE provided will be cloth gowns and surgical/cloth masks - NOT N95 masks. Per CDC: A Surgical/Cloth Type Mask does NOT provide the wearer with a reliable level of protection from inhaling smaller airborne particles and is not considered respiratory protection.****
