OKC MRC: Freedom FiestaAug 21 2021This week is Freedom Fiesta, which commemorates OKC's civil rights movement. There are several events happening in OKC that began last Saturday with a re-enactment of the first OKC Sit-in at Kaisers. On the 21st, there will be an art show at the History Center showcasing local black artists, as well as a movie screening later that evening hosted by the Clara Luper Legacy Committee. We will offer vaccine from 12-4pm in hopes that those in attendance can have the chance to be vaccinated or ask questions if they are hesitant.
