Moore Outdoor Music Festival (MOMFest)

Hello All: The Cleveland County MRC has been requested to support the Moore Music Festival on September 20, 2025. The period of operations is from 0800 am to 12 pm. The first shift will be to set up the site. The final shift will be to tear down and load equipment. Shifts will be established for sign up. We will need both medical and non-medical volunteers. We anticipate a very busy day with many bands in the festival. The Moore Outdoor Music Festival (MOMFest) is a student-focused event that gives each marching band the opportunity to perform twice throughout the day. The preliminary competition performances will be followed by short clinic time with the judges. Placement awards are given to the bands after their final performance in the evening. https://www.mooreband.com/mom-fest. The Moore Band Booster Club has requested assistance for the Moore Music Festival. Volunteers should review heat exhaustion protocols, minor first aid protocols and ankle sprains. The aid station will be in a response trailer supplied by Norman Emergency Management. The trailer is air-conditioned, and a cooling shelter will be available. Volunteers should bring money for concession stand and there will be drinks and snacks available. MRC shirts and ID cards are required. If you need them contact David Grizzle 405-245-9522. Sunscreen is encouraged and a hat. Both medical and Non-medical volunteers are needed. Most of the exposure will in an outside environment with the possibility of a roving aid team. Medical bag will be available.
