Tulsa Co. Severe Winter Weather Emergency Shelter - CREOKS ShelterHousing Solutions has requested OKMRC assistance as the Tulsa community has activated two pop-up emergency shelters for individuals (and their animals) that are experiencing unsheltered homelessness during this severe winter storm weather, and they are needing additional volunteers to assist. This shelter expects around 250 individuals and approximately 10 pets. Volunteers must be flexible and able to adjust to a fast-paced environment. When signing up for a shift, please list in the volunteer comment section if you would prefer to work in pet care or people care, understanding that assignments will be based on current available resources & needs during that shift.
